"IN AN INSTANT" - National Police Defense Foundation's Safe Cop PSA

We have all seen in the media law enforcement officials nationwide under constant criticism by special interest groups and certain elected officials who second guess the actions of the police in a life-threatening situation. This criticism has resulted in low police morale and even suicides. The NPDF’s major concern is that law enforcement officers might second guess their training and experience which will undoubtably result in their being seriously injured, shot or killed in the line of duty. These concerns prompted the NPDF to produce a PSA video entitled” In an instant” so every day law abiding citizens can put themselves in the officer’s shoes. When watching the PSA, the question is would you shoot the suspect fearful of going to prison or not shoot, resulting in your family attending your funeral?
